About StrayaSync
Fun first. Reflection second. No baggage, no fuss.
StrayaSync is a calm, minimal platform for small team rituals. Built for teams who want a shared screen activity that works in five to eight minutes and makes the room feel a bit more connected.
The idea came from Salam's work with the Kirby team at Mecca. After every standup they play NYT Connections together. A ritual that brings the room together. But the puzzles felt very North American. Coffee orders, US cities, baseball terms. Great fun, but not quite home.
So the idea stuck. What if there was a local Melbourne Aussie version? Flat whites instead of pumpkin spice. Quokkas instead of raccoons. Something that feels like us. And not just one game. A small library of quick team games, all with that same local flavour.
One evening Salam sat down with Codex, Cursor, GitHub and Vercel. A few hours later, v1.0 was live. Kirby Conn-au-ctions, Word Links, Word Match, Word Scramble, Word Hunt, Letter Hive, Red Flag, Hot Takes, Plot Twist, The Common Thread. A small library of team games, guest only, no signups, no tracking. Just shared screen fun that helps teams bond.
Version 1 is guest only. No logins, no analytics, no third party trackers, no session storage. Content is pre-authored and served as plain text from local assets. The tone is light, safe and occasionally mildly cheeky. Australian and Oceania references where they fit. No corporate training vibe. No delivery coaching language. Just a team looking organised with almost zero prep. A room that wakes up a bit, and a reflection at the end that actually lands.
